Road side ikebana

Another form of mindfulness training in Japan is ikebana; flower arrangement. Usually very exquisite expensive vases and trays are used. And flowers are also pricey in Japan.
I occasionally embark on a flower arrangement adventure. My last one was my most successful one; I used old wine bottles as vases and picked twigs and branches at the side of the road.
Here is the result:






I then used the bouquets for some mindful observing and drawing:
